Tough Mummy

Mummy has got tough!!!

 We have house rules, I may have blogged them. One rule was no one will be asked more than twice to do anything, if this is not heeded, then a loss of privilege will occur.

To be honest, I am so sick of shouting and being ignored I cried the other day. Well say cried, sobbed for 2 hours would be more exact *Looks embarrassed*

So I resolved to get tough and take control back from the spawn. I now make sure that I have the attention of the spawn in question and they are listening to me. I then issue my request = tidy up / get dressed / get ready for school. I also issue the consequence at the same time = Please get ready for school, if I have to ask more than twice, there will be no telly/iPod/wii/ds until tomorrow morning.

So far it seems to be working, I just need to hold firm and not give up.
